Tânsi,
On behalf of Mistawasis Nêhiyawak Council I welcome you to join us in Awakening the Spirit Within.
After two years of COVID-19 restrictions, we are thrilled to finally be able to safely gather again as a community. It is now time to awaken old friendships and make new ones at this year’s Traditional Powwow.
This year, we will be honouring our stolen sisters with Marion Buller, Chief Commissioner of The National Inquiry for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. We will acknowledge and welcome the spirits of the MMIWG.
